This woodcut print began as a collage made of old comic-book page cut-outs. It was then digitized and prepared to use as a woodcut design.
I wanted to re-contextualize the representation of the "woman" in this piece to have the power in situations where men are usually made to be the heroes. I used typography and other graphical elements to create an engaging composition while also conveying women in positions of power.
